ANN ARBOR, MICH. – January 12, 2009 – HealthMedia, Inc., the pioneer in applying advanced technology to emulate a health coaching session via the web – without the coach – for wellness, disease management, behavioral health, medication adherence, and aging well, has announced a new alliance with Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD). This venture will bring the HealthMedia® Succeed™ online health risk assessment (HRA) to employees in all four of the company’s Texas locations including Dallas, El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio. The bank will launch the HealthMedia® Succeed™ HRA to its entire employee population in the middle of this month.
Succeed™ is the only HRA that measures and quantifies productivity impairment, and identifies health risks by epidemiological need, stage of change, motivation, self-confidence, and barriers. It then produces a 16-page individually tailored action plan around a person’s top four health risks. NCQA HIP Certified, Succeed™ integrates with electronic medical records (EMRs), claims, and biometric data.
“We are very pleased to add the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, a highly regarded and respected leader in the banking industry, to our growing list of employer customers,” said HealthMedia President Ted Dacko. “We are moving full speed ahead in our efforts to expand, engage, and penetrate the financial sector.”
Coinciding with the mid-January launch, HealthMedia will conduct onsite presentations to help educate FRBD employees on the importance of health and wellness; demonstrate Succeed’s advanced capabilities, benefits, and ease of use; and showcase the simple, click through and straightforward nature of the online interview. In addition, HealthMedia will attend a company-sponsored health fair at the end of the month to consult with employees to drive participation and promote incentives. “To maximize the success of our programs, we must deliver supportive services that help our customers engage their populations, develop a culture of health, and, as a result, achieve true population health,” said Melinda Phillips, Vice President of HealthMedia Client Services.
