Individual strategies to discover healthy, restful, stress-free sleep.

HealthMedia Move®

The first physical activity program of its kind, HealthMedia Move® takes an innovative approach, designed to help individuals reframe their personal thoughts and address their specific barriers to physical activity. HealthMedia Move® gets to the root of why so many physical activity programs fail and provides each user with a one-of-a-kind plan to help them find the motivation and confidence to take the first step and continue taking steps towards living a longer, healthier, and more active life.

As the level of physical activity increases, so do the associated health benefits. The most value from being physically active is derived when one finds ways to incorporate physical activity into their daily life, while the greatest gains occur for those who are less active.

The goal of HealthMedia Move® is to get those who are inactive or slightly active, to engage in regular physical activity and maintain that activity over time. This product was designed to help people incorporate physical activity into their daily lives, instead of just adding another task on their “to do” list.

A crucial element to any successful physical activity program is creating achievable goals and tracking one’s progress over time. Using the HealthMedia® Step by Step™ tracker participants can set goals and track steps, time and distance for activities such as walking, running, cycling and swimming. This tool provides participants with a platform to establish and track goals longitudinally. Participants can enter information manually or automatically upload information through a USB interface with the Omron HJ-720ITC pedometer.

Topics included in HealthMedia Move® are:

  • Learn how to overcome personal barriers to change
  • Learn ways to think differently about being physically active
  • Gain the confidence to start being active and learn how to stay active
  • Design a physical activity goal and track your progress
